Lystajob was built out of care for the community and a desire to make things fairer for everyone.
I’ve seen close friends and family spend large amounts of money on lead-based platforms — sometimes without even getting the job. It never sat right with me, and I knew there had to be a better way.
There was also a time when I personally needed an electrician as soon as possible.
I went onto a local Facebook community page and saw people tagging multiple electricians. I then had to message each one separately, waiting for replies like “I’ll let you know tomorrow” or “I’m flat out at the moment.”
If Lystajob had existed then, I could’ve simply opened the app, tapped the map, and instantly seen who was available nearby — no waiting, no hassle, just quick connections.
